Emashevskaya grove occupies 9-14 sq . m . Temnikovsky district forestry area of 266 hectares, 2 km. to the south-east of the city of Temnikov.
It is a pine forest, the age of individual pines is up to 300 years old, located at the entrance to the ancient city of Temnikov. This is a picturesque place with giant ship pines. In the undergrowth grows cherry, honeysuckle, mountain ash, buckthorn brittle, linden, Russian broom, warty birch bark, dye droc. In the herbaceous cover, reed–like veinik, heather sedge, blue molinia, bracken, lingonberry, as well as ornamental plants requiring protection - lily of the valley, peach-leaved bell, dream-grass, etc. are often found.
The grove has a great reactionary significance, it is a favorite vacation spot of the townspeople, it is beautiful at any time of the year. It is also of scientific interest as a high-performance plant
